Which would you choose for an adults only dinner/night out? Haven't been to any of them. We are staying at WLV so they are all convenient. Thanks for your opinions!

We have always enjoyed Artist Point, which is not necessarily so for the other two choices. I know that BlueZoo is not one of your choices but it's truly an excellent restaurant for that romantic evening. Enjoy!

We absolutely love Ca Grill, never have had a bad meal or bad service.

I'd recommend California Grill. Try to get seating for around 20 minutes before the scheduled fire works show in MK so you are sure to be in the restaurant when they lower the lights for everyone to watch the them. The exact music playing at MK is played inside the restaurant and it is so magical. The food and service is excellent.

When my husband and I went I was moved to tears watching the fireworks. We were lucky enough to be seated next to a window - it was magic!

ENJOY!!! princess:

I haven't been to Cali Grill so I can't comment. Been to both Citricos and Artist Point. I give the edge to Artist Point.

I have eaten at all three and would go Cali grill, Citricos, Artist Point. I would also say that any of them are great, but Cali grill has the best atmosphere. Blue Zoo is soooo goooood tooo! Have a wonderful time!

Wow. I'm blown away for the lack of love in the thread for Citrico's so far. :confused3 I would give either it or CG the edge over Artist Point by a large, large margin... AP used to be better, but IMHO it's really not on it's game lately. CG is a traditional favorite of mine, a definite must-do if you've not been. However, I think the fireworks seating is overrated and ends up being more of a pain than it's worth. I've been to Citricos twice recently, and the food and service are impeccable.

You should note that none of them will probably provide a 100% quiet, adults-only experience... nowhere at Disney does. (Other than V&As, mostly, and in-room dining.)

Tough choice. They are all quite good. I liked the food at Citricos best. But Cali Grill has such a gorgeous view. I made our ADR about an hour before wishes (good thing we still had to wait about 30 mins after the ADR for our table!) and when it was time for wishes the waiter lets the kitchen know so they will hold off on cooking your meal so that you can go and enjoy the show and then come back and enjoy your dinner. Depending on the timing (and your table) you may see part of the electric water pageant too. It really makes a memorable meal. :teeth:

I LOVE CALIFORNIA GRILL. lol. I really do. I've never been to the other two, but if you go to CG you will have a wonderful meal and a wonderful time. :thumbsup2

I've got to chime in on the side of Artist Point. We've always had a great experience there. If you like wine with your meals, they offer a wine flight that will complement your meal quite nicely. Add to it the romantic atmosphere (take a walk down to the lake and wait for the gyser to go off) and the convenience to you at VWL and its going to be hard to beat.

And just to add, in response to the poster below that has a very valid point, We've been to all three.

I love Citricos (last trip was my first time there). In fact, I had a hard time deciding if I liked Citricos are Artist Point better. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the desserts better at Citricos. But I did feel that the meal at Artist Point (especially the Portobello Mushroom Soup) had a "slight" edge over Citricos. Again, I think a lot has to do with your particular experience on that particular evening, you know?

Also, I still think Citricos is one of the more "underrated" places in Disney World and not as many people go to it as some of the others, so I think there is not a lot of talk about Citricos because it just doesn't get the traffic.

I've been reading this thread with interest but I do wish everyone would state whether they had been to all of the places. It's real easy to say "Artist Point is the best" but if you haven't been to Citricos or Cali Grill, how do you know?

We have eaten at Citricos and CG, but not AP. We prefer CG to Citricos. Better atmosphere/view, better food (more to our liking anyway, and more inventive). We will go back to both, but if I could only choose one, it would be California Grill. :thumbsup2
