The berry cobbler isn't on the room service menu, but you can get it as a takeout option whether you dine at AP or not. As for kids, we have a 4-yr old and they do have a kid's menu at AP. Our server was excellent and really paid attention to the DD as well as us. The only drawback is that like most top flight restaurants, the courses aren't hurried out, so the whole event will take 1.5 to 2 hours. If your little one isn't up to such an adventure, they do have the babysitting or kids' camp option. Also, for the kid's menu, they can have a dessert of a 6-piece white chocolate puzzle (of Mickey, natch) with three edible, colored gels. They get a paint brush and can then paint the puzzle after putting it together. It's a good way to kill 20-30 minutes and our server brought it out at the precise moment we needed to finish our buffalo, then get started on dessert. Highly recommend AP even if it is expensive.
