Has anyone ever had there sketch done at the GF? I was wondering how long it took?....what was the charge?....how did you get it home?...did you have to schedule an appointment? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

We had our son's portrait done last week by Corrin. There are several artists with one available from noon until 10PM. The single person portrait cost $75 plus we added a generous tip since the portrait was so good. It took about 30 minutes. We happened to show up when she wasn't busy, but you can schedule a time. She packaged the portrait up for us and told us how to frame it.

We had one done there a few years ago too. I didn't know it at the time, but different artists charge different prices. At that time, different artists were in the lobby on different days. A lady did ours for a reasonable price but we noticed that the gentleman there the next day charged quite a bit more. And I didn't see a big difference in quality. The $75 for a single person is pretty reasonable compared to what we have seen. Also, there's an artist in the Beach Club lobby (whose prices had gone up quite a bit over the year between our visits) so you might want to do a little looking around.
