that all makes sense - I remember he was out a couple of times in September.

Fortunately, he came back in time for me to visit at the end of my trip.

Looking forward to going back in January, as my wife has somehow never met him.

When in January? I'll be at WDW from 1/24-1/28.

I spoke with Art this evening, He says "Thank You" he needs all the prayers and well wishes. He truly appreciates it! He has been resting and resting more.

Hello Everyone!

I spoke with Art this evening - He wished everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

He is starting to feel better - but it still looks like he won't be back "greeting" until 1/7/08.

He thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes for a speedy recovery. He says he does miss not being there for the holidays "Greeting" .

He said if you would like to send him a get well card - please send it to the Beach Club, the staff has been great about dropping cards off to him.

He is still out of work - he says he feels a bit better but did have a relapse. I think we still need to say some extra prayers for him. He is truly hoping to be returning to work next Tuesday Feb. 5th.

Count on the extra prayers from me & my wife. Plus, tell him that the BC staff should send him a daily bowl of the Beaches & Cream Chicken Noodle Soup. That'll help cure ANYTHING that ails him (my dad's living proof of it).

Any more news on Art? I stopped by to see him on 1/31, but he was out for another few days - word was they were hoping for him to return on 2/4.

I have nothing against the guys filling in for Art - they've all been really nice. But they aren't Art. (Try saying that one four times fast.)

Art is still sick.......he is hoping to get back soon, but he doesn't have a definate day when his Dr. will clear him to return to work.

So we just need to hope for the best for him and keep sending extra prayers to him.

You both are correct there is no one like Art.

Thanks for thinking of him - I will let him know when I talk to him this week.

He truly appreciates them all and believe they kept him strong and positive during his illness.

We left the BCV yesterday, and mere minutes before we left, we found that Art was back at work! I was so thrilled to see him before we left. We had honeymooned at BC in 1996, and had very fond memories of it and Art. Now 12 years later with 2 kids in tow we were staying at BC for our anniversary. We were told Art was not back at work yet, so I was very disappointed to not be able to see him again and introduce our kids to him. But, little did we know there was one more special magical moment waiting for us as we abt to board our bus to the airport! He was a lovely as ever. My kids were admiring his pins, but I reminded them that their trading pins were all packed away. He was so sweet and offered to let each of my kids chose one of his pins anyway. We snapped a great photo just before we left. So wonderful to see him healthy! THANKS, ART!!!!
