ART Shuttle

I just pulled up the ART website and had no idea there were so many different routes. I was also suprised that the number of stops varies from 2 - 8 depending on the route. Can I assume that those with larger numbers of stops take longer to do the loop, or is the passenger load even enough such that loading and unloading takes longer on the shorter routes thus equalizing the time?

I've heard about the huge crowds waiting for the shuttle at the end of the day at Disney; are there big waits at the hotels as well?

I guess what I'm wondering is if there is enough of a difference for any of this to factor into a hotel decision first of all, and then which shuttle to get on at those hotels that have a choice. (i.e. looking at the Embassey Suites in Garden Grove - if you get on the K shuttle, you are stop 1 of only 2, the L line, you are stop 2 of 7). I hope this all makes sense!

It depends on the hotel you are staying at. I would say the closer you are the more people there will be waiting. We stayed at the Hilton Suites last year and we were the only people ever waiting at the hotel for ART but at the end of the day there were more people waiting for ART at the park than there was room for.

Just depends where you are staying.

We have used it twice in 2 years and have found it varies significantly from hotel to hotel and times of the day. After the fireworks there are many people ready to go back to their hotels. Routes seem to change when ever their management wants them to. Drivers change shift around 1500 or so and you can be left hanging at shift change while they do their mandatory inspection, but for the most it works well. Loading and unloading takes time when there are strollers, etc to be loaded. We were there in August and the park was pretty crowded. So......
