.-~:hey guys and girls, im making a new contest where you can draw something or anything you want to, only being vmk/disney related. sorry- i have all my judges.:~-.

guidelines:
-must be vmk/disney related
-dont draw on the character/picture of in game or real life
-must be totally your work
-include a pre sketch of the drawing or something of lesser value that you may have made a while ago.
-does not have to be on art.com
-can be on photobucket or paint

prizes:
-one vmk everest chair
-one snow carpet
-one ice cube

that is awesome if it can not be entered which idk why it wouldnt be... just put a vmk symbol at the bottom... lol

yeah of course you can enter that. and it only has to be vmk/disney related.
it looks really nice- how long did you spend on it? do you do art as a living?
it would be fun to meet a fellow artist.

Do you mind if we actually draw/paint it then scan it to the computer? I'm no good at computer graphics but I'm a fairly good artist.

Yeah uh...that wasn't microsoft paint...was it? If I do challenge myself to this contest, I would certainly have to draw and then scan it 'cause there isn't any way I could possible create something like that using paint (and have it be COMPLETELY my work LOL) I really should get one of those "spiffy" art software things lol. Tiinkerbelle...I'm with you girl! lol ( the only difference being, I don't consider myself a good artist either way! LOL)

eh sorry everyone didnt mean to ruin it for everyone if it helps im just entering for fun. so dont judge me to win.


about the program i used, i have never bought any sort of art program. I use a free online program called Oekaki. If anyone likes I can PM them to links to the sites. Its a free community art program were you can draw, title it and write a little comment about it. Other aritist on the board can comment on your drawing also.

I cant remeber how long it toke me, but im guessing a hour and half I belive. Ive also been doing digital artwork for over 5 years now. I use a drawing item called a "wacom tablet" Its a device that plugs into your computer, which is a flat tablet with a wireless "pen" when you move it over it moves on the screen like a mouse would. you use it to draw as if its pen and paper. I got mine at bestbuy for 75 dollars. Its small tablet, 4x4 but you can get them larger for a higher price.

I do commissions, ive been paid a lot for some of my artwork. Also I make toturials online and i love teaching others how to draw or helping with oekaki.

I tried out that paint site and it beats my microsoft paint completely! I love it! Now...if only I could get that pad thing... LOL!

You're telling me! LOL While that site LittleRydia mentioned is excellent, I am still finding it difficult to move the mouse exactly as I want. lol
