On my last day, a Saturday, I have to check out of my hotel by 11ish. I was looking at the ART route line, and it looks like it goes right by Target, stopping at a hotel across the street or. Homewood suites or Marriott. I was thinking I could drive to Target in the morning, Park then take ART back to the resort until I have to leave at about 5 to go back to SNA. Bad idea?? I am trying to avoid parking in the parking garage at DL because I always get turned around and lost coming out of the place etc. Good idea? Bad idea? Should I park at the Block at Orange instead??

any ideas??

Most hotels will allow you to remain parked on their premises until park closing on the day you check out. Have you confirmed that this is not the case with your hotel?

I think I can stay until 2pm when checkin starts. Which isnt' long enough because I dont have to leave until about 5. I can ask them maybe they won't care. It's the Desert Inn and Suites. Would be nice if they would let me, save me tons of trouble.

We've never had any issues with leaving our car parked at the hotel on the day we check out if we head back to the park and play. We've stayed at all 3 DLR hotels, hojo, Fairfield inn, tropicana, bwppi, del sol inn and park vue. Call your hotel and ask.
