We booked the 7 for 4 deal with our Disney Visa months ago and have been counting down the days. In light of the hurricanes, my clan is incredibly sad about the possibility of not being able to go. I know my questions sound incredibly selfish, but let me make it clear that, of course, my thoughts and prayers are with the residents of Florida during this devastating time.

I have never purchased trip insurance, IMO, it is not worth it; however, I am second guessing my decision. I purchased my own airline tickets but our stay at the Poly is very expensive.

Has anyone purchased insurance this late in the game?

Will the insurance cost increase in light of the hurricanes?

Would you quickly purchase insurance?

Thanks!

Doubt that you will get it.

I think that it would be rather bad business sense for a travel or insurance company to offer insurance to you at this point that would cover a hurricane already on the map. I understant why you would want it at this point but for that exact same reason, no one is going to want to give it to you.

It is worth a try, but I would not count on it.
