Along the baggage transfer lines....we are arriving at MCO on a red-eye from LAX the day our 3-day leaves - our flight gets in at 6:36 in the a.m. -- will United turn the luggage over to DCL that early for transfer? Or should we claim it?

I not think DCL starts picking up luggage off the carousel until a bit later in the morning..maybe 9:00 am. I would say to pick up your own luggage and hand it over to the DCL reps when they start working.

I just came off a redeye last week from John Wayne airport into NY and I was a mess the whole day. I did not realize how much it would affect me. Good luck!!

Don't worry about it. UA will hold your bags in their baggage area until the DCL baggage reps show up in the morning to claim them and send them on their way to the ship.

MJ - I am the queen of the red-eye, no worries ;)

I do it ALL the time to save taking a vacation day that's wasted on planes. I take a dramamine, take a nap, get up, get off the plane :)

Sometimes I'm tired...but I figure we'll just jump on the Wonder as soon as they let us on (hopefully by noon :)), grab a drink and collapse by the pool until the Sail Away party:Pinkbounc
