arriving on a sat. afternoon

we're getting in around 3ish, i think on sat. the 19th of april. we're not starting our 5 day tickets until the next day. is there anywhere that we could at least see the fireworks from outside the park, just in case they are cancelled on sunday, which is the only other day that they are going to be going off when we're there.

I'm pretty sure you can see them from the Esplanade between DCA and Disneyland. There are also spots in Downtown Disney that you can see them. Where are you staying?

we will be staying at the dlh. Do you know if people wait for spots there or should we just be able to walk up and see them?

If you have a park view room you may be able to see them from your room but I don't know for sure. I've never stayed at the DLH. I know when we were at the GCH we could go to the end of the hall and watch them from there. You can go to DTD and see them there and you can see them from the Esplanade between parks. The only problem with watching them there is you don't get the soundtrack and that really helps.....you might get it quieter on the Esplanade but I'm not sure.
