Arriving night before

I would like to fly in the night before our reservation to take advantage of getting to the parks early while waiting on our rooms to be ready. My question is would I attach my ME tags to our luggage that day we fly in or just attach them the next morning and go to the ME counter? I plan on staying at the Hyatt Regency.

Well attaching the tags next morning will do you no good because you will have collected your own luggage. Once you have your luggage in your possession you can't give your luggage back to the airline for the DME to collect and take to your resort.
The ME counter does not accept luggage to be given to the DME delivery truck

You will have to take the luggage with you on the DME bus.

Put the tags on your bags and turn them over to a bellhop. They will get your bags over to DME. I'VE read you can leave them outside your door. I'd feel better giving my bags to a person
