If we happen to arrive 15 minutes late for our ADR will we still be able to get in or are we SOL. Thanks.

Hello fellow Islander. It depends on the CM that checks you into the restaurant. Some won't have an issue checking you in and others will have considered you a no-show and moved on (usually not the case but it does happen). It really all depends. Technically if your ADR time has come and gone, even by a minute, they can consider you a no-show (although, I have never actually heard that happen to anyone). If the ADR is for a restaurant that is important for your party to have (or you needed a CC to hold the ADR), make it a point to not be late. If it doesn't really matter one way or another take your chances.

I have showed up 15 mins late and checked in with no problem. I would keep WDW Dine on speed dial and give them a courtesy call. That way they know you are still on the way.:thumbsup2

Defeinitely depends on the CM when you arrive at the restaurant. Most times you shouldn't have a problem, as 15 minutes really isn't a big deal. We've never had a problem, but we usually give ourselves at least an hour to get from place to place to avoid any sort of problem.

We never had any problems with that! You may just have to wait a little bit longer for them to squeeze you back in. They know that at times it can be difficult to count on bussing, crowds, children, etc. I'm sure many have had bad experiences, but I've only had good dining experiences. The only place that I heard as being a stickler for the times was Le Cellier, but that was back when it was 1 dining credit for dinner.

It depends on the restaurant, the time of year and if there are people waiting for a walk up table

For example if you are late to Ohana, even 1min late they will cancel you and you will not be seated. Yes I know from experience.

Policy is "unofficial" that they can "hold" your table for up to 15mins. They do this just to be nice. However they do not have to, if you are late they can and often do call you a no show.
So like others said above, most try and be nice, but they don't have to.

That is why they tell you to check in 15mins before your adr time.

Thanks. We have a 9:25 at CP, just wasn't sure if we could squeeze Dumbo in before we have to check in.

We've been late before and never had a problem. I've heard all sorts of rumors regarding how long they'll honor your ADR, ranging from 20 minutes late to 2 HOURS late! We were 40 minutes late for a 7pm Crystal Palace ADR, in the Summer (thanks to a broken 'rail we were stuck on). They let us in no problem.

Is that am? I have been turned away from Crystal Palace or being 20 minutes late If you are late for a verifiable reason (monorail broke, stuck on ride etc) I am sure they will work with you as opposed to - just had to ride Dumbo. They also ask you to check in 15 minutes ahead so you should be checking in at 9:10. Does Dumbo have fastpasses? Can't rememer. If so, I would would probably run and get fastpasses then go have breakfast. Then your fastpass time should be up. GOod luck.

This! Or make later dining plans to accomadate Dumbo.

Make sure to bring your confirmation. We arrived 20 minutes late to lunch at Kona, and they could not locate us in the computer. Apparently, after 20 minutes it deleted your ADR. I had my confirmation and they had space and they sat us.

Happened to us at Coral Reef as well. Apparently, the computer "auto-cancels" the reservation after so many minutes; or so we were told. In our case, they actually had it on the wrong day. They refused to seat us until friends of ours that were with us, showed them their itinerary from the CL at BC with the correct date/time.
