My sister and I are taking a sister trip and will be arriving late Thursday night, in the park early Friday morning. We are so excited, but are a little worried the weather is going to be horrible! We live in Vancouver, WA, so we are used to rain, but from what I'm reading it is very stormy there.

Pray for our safe flight and let me know how the parks are tomorrow, if anybody is there!

Same boat.
I'm leaving Friday early to get to the parks that morning. I'm nervous, too! And, like you, used to the rain. But it generally rains drizzly all the time here, not inches per hour! I'm hoping that so many people are scared away by weather and that it will magically clear up that day and we'll all have a wonderful time!

Good luck!

Thanks! Have a great trip too. I am wondering what shoes I should wear, but I'm running out of time so I guess it will be sloshy wet tennis shoes!

Tomorrow (Thursday) is supposed to be very stormy, but Friday less so. After Friday, things look much better for the weekend. The last few days have produced some wild weather , but hopefully it will not continue throughout your trip. :thumbsup2 Have a great time!

(((Just saying "hi." I'm from Vancouver, WA, too, and MY sister and I are also going on a trip together to Disney this fall. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.)))

I live in Vancouver, Wa also. Hope that your trip is good and that the rain goes away.

Have fun:)

Please post and let us know how things are.

If you like Nachos go check out the ESPN Nachos with grilled chicken it is more than enough for 2 people for a meal. Ask for Adam he is a great waiter:)

I live in Longview, WA, and we are heading out Saturday and arriving at GC around 2 p.m. I am concerned about flights....I noticed from someones post that flights into or out of SNA were delayed. Curious how it will affect all of us...

We will be staying 7 nights and the weather looks great starting Sunday espeically. :thumbsup2

We went and bought DS some hiking boots last night and the really good waterproof spray for $7 a can. Started the waterproofing process last night and will have all our shoes done before we go. Not sure if the stuff helps but I figure it is better than nothing. We are bringing lots of socks and three pairs of shoes each.

We've been here since last Saturday and have been having a good time even in the rain...we've found that the mornings are pretty dry compared to the afternoons where its been raining pretty heavily. The best part is that there's not a lot of people around and everything is a walk on. Yesterday we did TSM 5 times in a row at DCA...the kids could have gone again but DH and I couldn't. The last of the rain should end by Saturday morning and you should have great weather after that.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. I fly out tomorrow. Hopefully everything will go ok!
