Arriving August 12??

For a variety of reasons, I'm not interested in joining one of the stroller swaps.

But I am thinking of doing a split.

Here's what I was thinking:
I want to purchase a new Maclaren Volo stroller. http://www.babye-store.com/voflor.html

I can get it for about $70.
It has a 55 lb capacity, and I'll be using it for a week for my 55lb-ish 6 year old daughter. We used one last year and it was perfect. For reasons that will make us both cry, the stroller isn't available this year.

You arrive on the 12th. Either we arrange to meet and hand off the stroller, or I leave it with Bell Services at the Poly. (Easy to reach via monorail from the Magic Kingdom.) We split the cost; so we both get the use of a new stroller for a week for $35.

At the end of the week, you either keep it, toss it, or give it to the first frazzled family you see.

I haven't though this all out yet, but figured I would float the idea and see if I get any nibbles.

Anyone interested??

I am not in need but you could also buy from them on ebay and they have been offering one volo w/ two seat covers red and powder pink, orange and powder pink these are the two I know for sure but they may have other and they are the same price w/ free shipping. This may interest someone so they don't have to worry as much about picking a color.

To be honest, I love the site I posted. I bought from them last year and was happy with the service.

But the stroller also comes in pink and crimson if those are better choices. The pink is $5 less, and my daughter would be fine with any of the 3 colors. I posted orange so as not to turn off the parents of any boys who might be interested.

Besides, given the choice, I think I would choose the orange just to make it easier to pick out of a crowd in the stroller parking lots.

OK, I found a taker.

But this might be a good idea for others, and I think the price for the Volo is a good one!
