Arriving at PBH late, around 12:00 PM, will anything be open?

Is there anyplace we could go to eat? I'm sure after a long flight we will be very hungry. How are the room service prices/selections? Very excited to stay here, is the resort lit up at night so we could at least explore? I know it will be late, but we are so excited I'm sure we won't want to go to bed as soon as we arrive.

Thanks!

room service will be available at that time.
i think prices are high for it.

You can always go to Citywalk. There will be clubs and restaurants open there.

In our experience, City Walk restaurants close their kitchens around 11pm or so. If you are going during a peak time, and it's a weekend, they may be open later.

There is a counter pizza place between Margaritaville and Pat O'Brien's though that has really good pizza, and in a pinch, we've eaten late there. He doesn't have a set time to close though. If there are people there, and there's pizza left, he's open. If not, he closes at a lull.

Room service is OK. Typical over-priced room service options, but if it's late, non-peak, and during the week, that may be your only option.

BTW, I assume you mean 12 midnight (am) not 12 noon (pm)? Now, if you mean 12 noon, you have a plethora of choices! ;)

I can tell you that on a Thursday, Margaritaville is not open for food at 12:30 am

I tried there once to eat after HHN in October and no dice.

Many of them close up, before if not, at midnight for food.

Well, I guess that eliminates the restaurants!!! Can you go into a club and get munchies? I've never been in any of the clubs but the boat guys are always saying that the clubs are open until 1:30 or so.

The one time we arrived late, we were staying at the RPR and we went down to Jake's. They were serving and it was karaoke night. I don't think it was after midnight yet though.

Unfortunately, when they close the kitchen, they close the kitchen, so no munchies. The club part of CW stays open, and you can get drinks, but we've learned the hard way many a time to ask when they are going to close the kitchen that night, since there seems to be no set time.

We were bummed because we had planned on the nachos at the Bula Bar, and got back to the RPR by 10 during HHN, but that was closed. The bartender there was very nice though, and there were several of us that ordered from Jake's, and the bartender from the Bula went over and got it for us so we could eat Jake's at the Bula. I think Jake's was only open till 11/11:30 during HHN.

There really aren't that many late night options beyond room service, unless you plan on drinking your dinner. ;)

So the clubs have their own kitchens but they don't stay open as late as the clubs themselves. Gotcha. Sure doesn't sound like many options other than room service!

Room sevice is the onlything I know avaliable,,Food is great, you can even get a steak dinner,,But like OP's stated very pricey. But the food is just as good!!

Thinking about it,3yrs ago we were in the same boat..We got done with parks and hit the clubs, next thing we new it was 12:30AM..We searched everywhere for something too eat too no avail..So we did room service,DW and I both got a cheeseburger and fries and I wanted more beer..The total price was $35 or so not including tip..I should'nt got the beer thats what jacked the price up!!!

Call flippers pizza cause when we were at RPR last year we ordered from them and they weren't too expensive :thumbsup2

They are good, but just keep in mind they aren't necessarily a late night option. We tried them around 12/12:30 one night, and they were closed. We have had them before though when we decided to stay in for the night, and they delivered right to our room. We didn't have to meet them in the lobby. :thumbsup2

damo, yes, you have it right. You can get drinks at the clubs long after the kitchens close.

Jodie, were you the one that paid $20 for a grilled cheese sandwich through room service one year?

Yes, at the HRH, and it was NOT good. The cheese was melted in some places but not others. Gross!

I am going to suggest grabbing something at the airport before you head to the hotel. It wont be the best meal of the trip, but might be better than what you can get at the hotel at that hour.

Another thought is to buy something at the airport before your flight takes off, and eat that on the plane.

Then just plan on a big breakfast in the morning.

can you get food at thirsty fish that late?
