Hi,

We will be celebrating our 25th anniversary at DLR beginning on Sat. 9/22 for two nights. :lovestruc I'm getting super excited now! This will be the first time at DLR without our kids with us (now that we're 'empty nesters').

We will be driving from Santa Barbara after attending a party and will be arriving at DLR around 7:00 pm. I think DL is open till midnight. Ultimately, I would love to see either WOC, Fantasmic and/or the Fireworks. My first thought was to go to DCA and just take a look at the new Carsland, without trying to ride anything and then, head over to DL to catch the fireworks and watch the 2nd Fantasmic. That would leave WOC for our last night (Sunday).

WWYD? TIA! :flower3:

You have two nights, but how many days do you have? Will you be going to the parks Monday also? Or is your only full day Sunday?

Personally I'd just go to DL the first night for a few rides, fireworks and Fantasmic! then do Carsland early Sunday morning and grab a FP for WOC Sunday night.

We are going to go to the parks all day Monday too.

I would relax on my first night. Drive to Anaheim, check into your hotel, get over to the parks and go to DCA first. Enjoy the neon lights in Carsland; check out the stores; etc; then be in line for RSR at 10pm when they close the line. Ride RSR and be done with it by 11 pm or so. Then, go over to DL; walk back to IASW and ride that; then if you have time, be in line for the submarines at midnight. Ride that; then browse the shops on Main Street as you leave.

I always loved going to DL late on Saturday night with DH before we had kids. Enjoy your trip and congratulations on your anniversary.

I like your idea of visiting Cars Land just for looks. That's definitely a relaxing thing you can do before heading over to fireworks and Fantasmic... the neon lights cannot be missed!

Then on Sunday, you can spend the day normally after getting FP in the morning for World of Color that night.
