Arrived on 3/28......

Hey everyone!

We made it here Sat. morning around 10:45. We are staying at the GCH and our room was ready when we checked in!!!! Awesome. We have a DTD view but it's not that great....but still nice. We went to DL and oh my gosh....it was sooooooooooo crowded!!! As many times as we have been to the parks, I have never experienced it like this. A TON of teens...band groups, cheerleaders, etc. All the rides had crazy long lines. We managed to ride HM, BTMRR and Indiana Jones(thanks to FP's) before leaving the park around 5. We had dinner reservations at Steakhouse 55 at 7 so we headed back to the room to get changed and all. The dinner was excellent!! Steaks were yummy and so was my raspberry mojito!!

We went back to the park atfter that cause we had FP's for SM. We also managed to do Buzz, POTC, and Nemo while most people were watching shows and fireworks. But these crowds are crazy!! We are not doing parks today. We'll be back Mon. and Tues. Hopefully it will be lighter. Then we leave on Wed.

Still having a great time, though!!!! Love it here.

I had heard that they expected that this weekend would be really busy. Glad to hear that the GCh is so nice. I would love to stay there.

Yes, it's nuts today. I didn't go to the parks but saw that they're parking people in the Buzz Lightyear lot, which is the overflow after both regular lots and the Simba overflow lot and the Pumbaa overflow lot fill up. Note to self - stay away.

Oh geez that is crazy. This is the time of year I avoid. I think Spring break is actually crazier than Summer sometimes. I wonder why this weekend though. It isn't the new parade is it?

AP holder rule #3: If thou is directed to park in Simba, think carefully about your plans. It's crowded in The Park!

Simba is like the south 40 of DLR and not a place one wants to park unless you can get a taxi cab or bring a moped, lol.
