Arrival Timeline and Guest Services (1st night or next morning?)

Good morning. Looking for some input on the best way to handle our timeline. Our flight arrives to MCO at 5pm Thursday, taking ME to YC for a 7-night stay.

We have military salute tickets that I know have to be activated at a ticket window or guest services, and we also plan to get the $98 mil discounted memory maker that has to be purchased on-site.

I assume all of this (ticket activation and memory maker purchase) can be done at the EPCOT IG guest services? Appears to be open till 9pm, which should allow us plenty of time still to get there after travel to YC. Or am I optimistic on how quickly we’ll get out of MCO, board ME, and arrive at YC? I figure approx. 2-2.5 hours?

So all that story for the questions:
A) can IG ticket window or guest services do what we need to do?
B) is our 5pm flight going to allow the time to do so or should we plan the next morning to get to MK early enough to do all such before RD?

I think you can do all of that at the hotel itself, correct? Maybe someone else will chime in, but I think you can do all of that at your actual hotel in addition to the theme parks.

Yes to both.

Either of the two Ticket Windows can process your requests and you’ll have plenty of time to walk from YC to the windows.

I’ll definately ask upon check in but I thought I’d read that the hotels can’t do activations of such tickets. We’ll see. Definitely would be more convenient.
