For everyone's info, EE is Mon/Tue/Thurs/Sat and TTMM is Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat. So if you are going to do them on the same day, it can only be on Mon or Sat. I am not sure if there is any benefit or drawback to doing them both on the same day other than with EE you know you are already in the park. If you TTMM on a different day that means you will have to be sure to get to DL early on a whole separate day.Sorry I forgot to mention we'll be there Sat June 9th for EE, but your advice is what I was expecting. Guess we'll set the alarm extra early that day.
I read in a thread somewhere earlier or maybe in a guidebook to do TTMM the same day as early entry --does this make sense? Or would it be better to go on Fri June 8th?
Thanks again, you guys are awesome!
Sorry, but what does TTMM stand for?
Don't try this in the summer, and especially don't try it this summer after Nemo Subs open. After Nemo opens everyone who wants to be able to get their money's worth from EE should be there 30 minutes early. At least until the visitors after June 11 tell us differently.for a 7:00am EE, you can get there at 6:45 - 6:50, and you will be fine. We were there President's week, and did EE 3 times, and always got in line 5-10 minutes before opening. We have older kids, so they weren't so interested in FantasyLand, they were more interested in Space Mountain. We did SM at least twice each EE without any wait, and then hit Buzz (at least twice), and then hit Matterhorn.
If you are more interested in FantasyLand rides, you probably want to get in line as early as possible.
I agree, but 6:50 is cutting it too close IMO in the summer. 6:40-6:45 will work pretty well if you are running late, but once Nemo opens all bets are off.I don't disagree with the previous posters, but don't entirely agree either. While getting there at 6:30 is a good idea, you'll be fine if you are running a little late. It's been my experience that 6:40 is almost as good; after that, you will start loosing time.
It will not be hard to tell which gates are open. The only confusion is if you arrive for EE after it starts and others are showing up for regular park opening. As long as you are there by the time EE itself starts pretty much everyone there is there for EE all lines are EE lines.Which gates as a rule open for EE? How do you know which ones to wait at? I was thinking that as we will be getting breakfast from the concierge lounge which does not open until 6:30am DH could go and wait in line for 6:30am whilst I go into the lounge to grab a few pasteries and bottles of juice for breakfast and then meet DH in line. However having never been before I would need to tell DH where to wait so I could easily find him in line. I would hate for him to line up at a gate that isn't going to open!

does anyone know if Nemo will be an EE ride? THat would definitely have an impact on EE crowds.
