Your docs are very important and they contain all of the vouchers you will need for your land/sea adventure. I don't think it is necessary to read thru them at the
AAA office, but when you get them home be sure to read thru them and fill out all the necessary forms (this will save you so much time once your on your way!!). If you have questions you can call your TA or ask here on the boards.
A doc booklet needs to be filled out for EACH person on the trip, (infants included). The only thing you will need to take out of the doc booklet before you travel is the luggage tags. You should put these on your suitcases BEFORE you leave home. This will enable the airlines and
DCL to get your bags to the proper resort for you. Once you arrive at the MCO (Orlando airport) look for a DCL rep (they are everywhere!!) DO NOT go to baggage claim. The reps will walk you to the DCL bus lines. Once aboard the bus you will be given an envelope and a video will show you which doc pages you will need to place into the envelope. You will have plenty of time on the bus ride to get everything in order. When you get to the resort, hand that envelope over to the reps at the DCL cruise desk. They will ask to see your ID and your birth certificates or passports, then they will send you to the resort desk to get checked in. It is all very easy and they tell you step by step what to do.
The most important thing is DO NOT pack your docs in your checked luggage. Keep them with you in your carry on bags!!
Also try to fill out all the necessary forms at home to save you time!!
Hope this answers your questions!!
