We'll be getting to SOG shortly after 6 on a Sunday night after going to KSC on the way in. The next morning is 8am AK for us so we don't want to have to make an ADR or be up late. Our choices are Garden Gallery SOG, or qs at either of the monorail resorts. What do you think? THNX

In this type of situation, I much prefer to just hang out at my resort for the evening. Have dinner, get settled in, maybe go to the pool for a little bit, call it an early night this way we are refreshed for the next morning. Even just leaving the resort for a CS is more of a hassle then I would like in this type of situation.

You've got a couple of great options on the monorail loop. I love Captain Cooks and Contempo Cafe. I've never been to SOG, so I can't speak on that. They are both viable options! Enjoy!

I would do that but I hear the food at SOG is horrid

I can't speak for the food there. I have never been.

It sounds to me like you have your own transportation (I would figure that going to KSC before hand means you probably have a car). Why not stop at DS before heading to SOG? When you get close to the area, have someone check and see what ADRs might be available at that time (this way you aren't rushed at KSC, but still can have a nice TS for dinner if you want) and if nothing interests you just grab a quicker bite to eat.

I'd love to but every time I get near DS I start shopping and time slips away LOL

Garden Gallery isn't too terrible. At least it's run-of-the-mill buffet food at non-Disney prices! We were always able to find something they were serving that we enjoyed and the servers are really good about keeping your drinks filled.

Another option is to grab food from the Eagles Sports Bar (open while Evergreen is under remodel). Again the stuff from grill isn't fancy but the prices are right and you aren't doing lots of traveling.

If you want to do the monorail resort option, we always enjoy Contempo Cafe at CR. It's not quiet because the seating area is next to Chef Mickey but they have a good selection.

We like to hang out at the resort the first night if we get in any later than say 4:00 or so That way we can settle in, unpack, and be rested for the next day. I would order pizza and hang by the pool.

I also like the DS idea. Something quick but good like Pucks Express or Earl of Sandwich.

I was going to suggest finding somewhere on the Boardwalk on your way from KSC to SOD since you have a car.

If you prefer only a QS, another good option would be Landscape of Flavors at Art of Animation. There's good, fresh food & a variety of different things at the stations. It's also a really cool resort to check out if you've never seen it before. I've gone there on my check out day before hitting the road before & find it to be a nice quick stop without wasting too much time if you just are eating & leaving.

THNX do you know how they are at handling people with allergies. I've never had a problem with Disney but elsewhere I worry

Thank you kind sir but we only have 10 days in the main parks and I'm not using a day for 3 hours when we have to be up a 5:30 am the nest day.
