Arrival Day Brunch/Lunch Ideas?

Usually I arrive late afternoon and we do the same arrival dinner every year. However, this time it is just me and a friend celebrating my 21st and we arrive at 10am. We are staying at GF and do not have park tickets for the first day, but wanted to plan a brunch or lunch somewhere! Do any of you have arrival day brunch/lunch traditions? Any suggestions? Here is where we are eating so far:

Ohana dinner
Akershus lunch
1900PF dinner
Yak & Yeti lunch
Brown Derby dinner
Plaza lunch
San Angel dinner

We don't have a tradition, but I can offer suggestions. My 1st choice would be Afternoon Tea @ GF. If you don't want to wait until they open at 2, maybe Grand Floridian Cafe would work? My other suggestion would be to combine lunch @ DTD & shopping, since you're not going to a park.

Whenever we get in early in the day, we like to go to DTD and hang out for the afternoon/evening instead of hitting a park. Not sure if you're looking for something like a sit down-type place or quick, but Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD is one of our favorites .

We discovered the hard way not to make ADRs for arrival day. We allowed five hours between landing and dinner and still didn't make it! Talk about the day of Murphy's Law! *LOL*

You don't need park tickets for 'Ohana or 1900 Park Faire, so I would go with one of those unless you have APs. Otherwise, you'll lose a park day on your tickets--the other restaurants are inside parks.

I know that this sounds crazy but hotel hopping is really fun. When we do not have ADR's we like to grab an appetizer and drink and then move on to the next hotel. Checking out each hotel is a lot of fun and we will use the monorail and the boats to get around.

I also really like the GF high tea idea. I have not personally done it at Disney but my Mom did and she loved it. I think if it is just you and a friend you will love it.

Just for clarification, the Afternoon Tea, Grand Floridian Cafe, & DTD restaurants aren't in parks.
