Arrival 1 day before package??

Has anyone checked into a resort a day before there package begins? We were thinking about checking in on a Friday afternoon, but our package is Sat-Sat.

Do you really have to check-in twice?

Do you think that we will have to change rooms?

I have done it several times, at the Poly, the Swan and AKL.
Never had a problem, never had to change rooms, you do have to go downstairs to check in and out but it was painless.

We just did it this past trip at CSR due to a late checkin the first night. We not only were upgraded to a king with a water view but we didn't have to switch or anything. The only thing we had to do was walk over to guest services on our way to the parks and get our new room key with the passes on it.

We were at the BC last week. They told us we would have to come down the next morning and check out/check back in. But, under our door the next morning, they had slid our new KTTW cards. SO, we didn't even have to go to the desk.
