Several years ago Jeff and Laureen started that contest for their pin event and I couldn't be there. So I was determined to try it on this trip. Okay, I had six days and 30 traders. At first, I thought I was doomed as the lanyards I came across were full of the same store pins (those I have) and beginner pins. But I found that if you kept looking good pins (by that I mean lanyard series and rack pins I wanted) could be found. So, to make this story a little shorter, I am proud to say

I made all 80 trades!!!!!


Actually I made 81 but it felt great. Thanks Jeff and Lauri for the delayed fun, I had a blast!

So, from all those 81 trades, what were your top three?

Maybe a pin you really wanted for your collection?

Or one that you'd had trouble trading for?

Or an LE?

Well, I did get one LE of 2500 but that isn't a big deal one. It is 30631 Minnie pointing, one of my favorites. I got a lot of lanyard series pins, including a couple of pirates, several catalog pins, and some sets like the Minnie sun set and the travel company airplanes which I liked. I got a few Disneyland Paris pins and one tokyo pin. I like all my rack pins though!

Very cool! Congratulations on your completion of your adventure. For all of your dedication, hard work and perseverance (not to mention being able to still find your passport after almost two years) you deserve something special. How cool! I'm so glad you finally had a chance to do the passport!

How fun was that? We had a blast and the CMs seemed to get a kick out of it too!
