The only reason this is news is because Palin (along with many other GOP) spits out Reagan’s name like he's some kind of Political God and the Political God's son doesn't even support the party that praises his father so much. Considering how many of Ronald Regan's former policy advisers - and now his son - have supported Obama I have an feeling that Regan himself would have either sat this one out (and given tacit support to Obama), or outright supported him. I think that Reagan would have been quite upset at how far to the cultural right the Republicans have swung. Ahhhh - who am I kidding - of course he would support the GOP. I recently listened to an Album RRS (Ronald Reagan Senior) made in the 70's. It was like 40 minutes of fear mongering of how America would never be the same and it would be the END of democracy. Believe it or not it was about Medicare. Medicare was going to be the end of democracy, as we know it.

Ronald Reagan is only "great" to the left when they think that they can score a point or two. No point here. Young Ronnie has been 'acting out' since dad first ran for the White House. He is a well known liberal with whom the only thing he has in common with Ronaldis Magnus is his name!

OP, Ron, Jr. has ALWAYS been liberal and this is not news. It would be newsworthy if he did endorse McCain. It has NO reflection on his father whatsoever and President Reagan had no problem with his son's political ideology. Again, this is not new news!

The point is that Ron Reagan Jr. is a very liberal person, everyone knows that. Of course he supports Obama. Again this is not news and it's not surprising.
