Army Theme Song on guitar???

Does anyone know how this will sound? My groom-to-be is very proud of his time in the Army and I was thinking it would nice to have this song played at some point during lunch. I am assuming there is no special theme if you have a certain job but please correct me if I am wrong.

We love the song God Bless the USA. Would that sound good on guitar too?

The rest of our songs are fun/love songs etc and I think will be fine.

Go to iTunes store, type in Army Song Guitar. There is an album called Patriotic Guitar by Steve Rapson. He doesn't have "God Bless the USA," but I'm sure it would sound great.

Anyway...on that album is a medley with Reveille and "Caissons Go Rolling Along" which is really what the Army Song is. There you can get an idea of what it will sound like. But then again, I also think it depends on the guitarist.
