Armed Forces Salute Room Discount Eligibility

Good morning!

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place, but I couldn't find any military specific board!

My father is 100% service related permanently disabled, which I believe qualifies him to purchase park tickets through the Armed Forces Salute promotion.

Does this also make him eligible to use the room only discount for the same promotion? The Disney website says Active/Retired military only, which he is not. (Vietnam Veteran-never technically retired).

Any help with this would be great. Thanks so much!

Yes, 100% permanently disabled are eligible, but must have a military ID with a DAVPRM status.

If his military ID gives him base MWR privileges, he can use the promotion.
