J. Eric Fuller, a survivor of the Arizona shooting that took the lives of six people in Tucson, made a death threat against the head of the tea party. Mr. Fuller has been arrested for his very public death threat. Mr. Fuller did not act like a victim at all, but more like a madman.

Fuller was one of thirteen people wounded including Representative Gabrielle Giffords. Now he has been arrested one week later after he was a victim. Fuller is a military veteran who supports Giffords and made it painfully obvious that he hates tea party people and has no respect for Republicans.

He was arrested during the taping, and placed in a mental hospital for evaluation for 72-hours. This only proves that there is more than one dangerous nut in Arizona, and the blame for the shooting can be spread across a wide variety of people. The taping was supposed to be a time of healing for the victims, but instead it became a time of terror. According to The New York Times, J. Eric Fuller was charged with two misdemeanors. He was charged with threats, intimidation, and disorderly conduct.

It appears he felt the "alleged" shooter was connected to the tea party. They said they have taken the survivor to a mental health facility for evaluation, I am sure the whole experience has been stressful on him and other survivors.

Actually I thought the google link was quite helpful because it directed the OP to actual objective, factual sources of news about the incident. What you posted above wasn't exactly a news source...it was poorly written, subjective, and missing quite a few facts. If you go to the actual news sources found through google, you can find out exactly what he did, what he said, who he threatened, where it occurred, etc. Facts.

What I posted was the first news source listed when that google search came up and I feel it gave a jist of what happened which was what the OP wanted. I just feel that the person who posted that link made the OP look like they were too lazy to do it his/herself and made a mockery out of that OP posting the thread.

Yes it is factually incorrect that the shootings were because of the shooter listening to any party. His friends and family all said he doesn't even listen to the news. But many in the media rushed to tell a story that simply did not turn out to be true.

You are absolutely correct, we in the media need to be held accountable.

The sheriff investigating the shooting had the opinion you object to, and reporting that is factually correct. And reports that showed that the involvement between the alleged gunman and the Congresswoman went back before the creation of the "tea party" also were factually correct.
