:headache:For anyone calling 60 days out I was given incorrect information. If a CM tells you that you can not make a breakfast or Lunch Reservation CALL BACK. Apparently there is now a pop up window restricting to 30 days for dinner only but that can be closed for Breakfast and Lunch so they may be scheduled. The CM I spoke to the second time was going to make sure her fellow CM's know they can close the window :thumbsup2 to schedule as usual for breakfast and lunch! :confused3 I thought it was kind of odd that I hadn't read about it on the boards first!:cutie::love:

I had called this morning to book Ariel's and was told they are setting up a new program so they are only allowing reservations 30 days out. Has anybody else heard this?

I hadn't heard that yet but with the information from the earlier thread (a few posts down, a new show with princesses) it makes sense.

I haven't called yet about my own reservation that has already been made but I suppose I should It sounds like likely it has been changed and I just haven't been notified yet.

I had not heard this news yet, but did they indicate if it is just for Ariel's and other character dining, or is it going to be 30 days for all the DLR restaurants that take reservations?

Thanks for the info!:goodvibes

As speculated on previous threads it may be that they will be offering some sort of of dinner package at AG with a viewing of WOC. :confused3

I was quite surprised when I called to make the reservation for June 25 and was told he could get me in today if I wanted, but for the 25th of June I would have to call back on May 25th to make my ressie. He told me this is only for Ariel's Grotto because of a new promo/show they are doing.

Very cryptic and he hung up rather quickly as if not to say too much.

I can't get my intext quotes to work but I agree with Raindown and Rentayenta that It does smell rather fishy.:lmao:

Hmmm well since they changed mine maybe once I get more info I can call back on May 14 and re-book under "the mysterious dinner package" :goodvibes

Straight up call and ask for the WoC dinner package and act like you know exactly what you are talking about. Step 2: report back.:)

OK! Here is the dibs.:thumbsup2

Yes there is going to be WOC dinner packages at Ariels Grotto. There will not be princesses at the dinner. Starting May you can call 30 days out to book your premium WOC dining package through Ariels Grotto at 714-781-4400. Monday to Friday 8-5 Pacific Time. She did not have pricing yet but she did indicate it would be priced the same as Fantasmic around the 60 dollar mark. There you have it!!!:cool1::cheer2:

I am calling on May 13 to book ours:love:

Well, this should work for the Dobies, as we were going to eat at Ariel's anyway. Shame about no princesses, though.

I shall shoot an email to vacation planning and ask them about this--maybe they have the scooby now.

I still don't see how AG can get a good view of WoC. It almost looks at the viewing area. You'd get like a side view.

I and others suspect DLR will do something similar at AG to the way they do Fantasmic dining reservations at WDWs DHS park - you book dining earlier and then get a reserved seat at Fantasmic. If you are already planning to dine an DHS you get a bonus Fantasmic seat. So what would happen is folks dine at AG and then come back later to get their WOC spot in a location where youc an actually see the show. What is not clear is if such folks will have their own roped off spot or just get a pass (like Showpass) for WOC.

FWIW, it appears the dining reservations at WOC may not be limited just to AG but also include other dining options at DCA - maybe even DL too? - but I doubt that.

See the World of Color thread in my signature line for more info. :)

Pure speculation on my part...but maybe the meal and the show aren't at the same time. Maybe they're just turning the restaurant over to meal and show packages after a certain point in the day. Like the Fantasmic package you have to book in advance and prepay, but unlike Fantasmic, perhaps you have a designated dining time before or after the WOC show and then a "special" reserved viewing location in the WOC viewing area during the show. Allows Disney also to have a completely different pricing tier for the show package versus the princess meal offered during earlier parts of the day.

Well, I should hope that for premium pricing one could have access to a roped off seating (standing) area that allowed one to miss herding up with the other cattle.

When I called this morning, I was able to make lunch reservations for June 25. The CM also said that the Princesses will actually be in the WOC show.

When securing a dessert package for F! or a dinner package for WOC is it better to call myself or let vacation planning do it? This is our first trip to DL so I am unsure. I am used to calling myself as soon as possible for the Fantasmic seating at WDW. I am thinking that the special WOC dining packages are going to sell out fast!
