Ariels Grotto vs. Under the Sea

Can someone please help me out......

Ariel's Grotto is what? - a splash-n-play area??

Under the Sea is what? - this is a ride??

Ariel's Grotto is a meet-and-greet with Ariel in her mermaid fins.

Under the Sea is a new dark ride, similar to Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh.

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe that Ariel's Grotto is the new cave-like area that Ariel will do meet n' greets in with her mermaid tail. And Under the Sea is a ride with clam-shell shaped cars that glides past animatronic scenes of Ariel's story.

Both previous posters answered pretty clearly. One is a ride, one is a character meet.

Ariel's Grotto is a meet and greet inside of the new Fantasyland area that isn't officially open yet. You can meet Ariel in mermaid form.

Under the Sea is the Little Mermaid dark ride attraction. Think Winnie the Pooh, but for The Little Mermaid. Also not officially open at the moment. They're going through soft openings right now.

Thanks - i have been off the boards for over two months and only have 11 days to catch up!!

We are there for MNSSHP on the 30th - hope we get to do the new ride!

There was an ariel's grotto splash and play back in the day, maybe that's what you are thinking of...
The splash n play area they have now is Casey Jr. theme
