Ariel's Grotto not open for ADRs 60 days out??

I'm trying to get an ADR for Ariel's Grotto on 10/5 (less than 60 days out) and it isn't open for booking yet. The CM couldn't tell me why it isn't available for ADRs yet. Should I try and make another ADR or expect that it will open soon?

I'd try again. Maybe their was a computer glitch or something.

I called yesterday to make PS for 9/25 and was told that they could not make any reservations beyond 9/14(Ariels Grotto only). For whatever reason, their ability to make them has been temporarily suspended. The CM I spoke with said to try back next week, as she expected it to open back up soon.

I was told in the fall they are stopping dinner on week days and only doing lunch. However when I tried for 9/14 I was told they are closing for refurbishment as of the 14th.

Of course who knows if this is true, but it's what I was told.

Hmmmmmm.......sounds like I should reserve something else just in case it doesn't open.

You can usually make priority seatings 2 months in advance. So for example today, 8/8 you could book for 10/8.

I really hope they are doing dinner still in October... it is supposed to be one of the first things we do when we get there...

Not really sure if this helps/answers your question, but I just called 10 min ago and got PS for 10/8 for lunch. She only had 2 times available and they were both lunch, so I don't know if they are doing dinner anymore? I was thrilled to get it, so I didn't ask! We've been going to WDW for years and I've never been able to get Cindy's - we've always got to Akershus, which my DD6 loves, so it's not been too much of a problem, but we really wanted to do a princess dining at DL, so we are happy.

Cami - Thanks for letting us know! Maybe they aren't doing dinner because the park closes at 6pm. Last November we had PS's at 4:20 for "dinner" at AG.

This is really strange because I just called and they told me it was still closed for an unknown period of time. I would double-check your PS to be sure it wasn't a mistake.

Thanks for posting your update! I was just on hold to clarify for myself when I read your message. I feel better hearing that you were, indeed, able to make PS. On that note, I have faith that all is well and cross my fingers that we are both in store for a little lunchtime with the princesses I hope you and your family have a magical time at DL as well

I just called to make a lunch reservation on 9/26 and there were only 2 times available, so of course I grabbed one! Perhaps they have significantly scaled back the number of available reservations???

I just got PS for lunch for Ariel's on Sat 9/29. I was told dinner was no longer available.

Apparently there was "some" issue but it seems to be ok now. I was able to make lunch ressies for October 5th at 1:00. Don't know about dinner though.
