We have reservations at AG on May 16 for dinner for my DD's birthday. Ariel is her favorite, so she's really excited. Anyway, can someone clarify for me what's going on at AG? I haven't read all the posts but are they not offering dinner there because of WOC? I'd love to get the scoop on this since it's really important that DD eats there for her birthday, it's the main reason we're going to DL :( Thanks so much for your help!

AG is closing for dinner for WOC. They will not have reservations after 4 pm. There has been conflicting reports about when this change will happen. Most May reservations have not been affected, yet. I would call Disney Dining to confirm that your reservation hasn't been changed, and would probably continue to call up until your trip. Also make sure they have your cell phone number on file with your reservation so they can contact you if there is a change. The good news is that if they do need to change it, they will make it right. Most likely just moving it to an earlier time that day.

Even if you can't get dinner I would do one of the other meals. If Ariel is her favorite, AG is one of the most dependable ways to meet her. Plus, it is a great experience overall.

Like others suggested, I'd just call and make sure you haven't been moved. I got moved (in June, not May)--even though there are rumors they will have some sort of dinner at Ariel's Grotto (sans princesses). I think it's more likely they will move you, than change dinner to lunch on you.

Or if you want to make sure you aren't moved, you could call and ask them to push you back to 3:30 or earlier. I think you may be fine for dinner in May, though.

Have a great trip!

We have reservations for the 14th, also for dinner. I haven't heard anything from them either. I'm hoping they keep dinners open for May. Dinner just works better than lunch for our family.

It should be just fine. WoC doesn't open until June 11th. If you are still worried you should give reservations a call to confirm your dinners.

According to a CM at Disney Dining, if your dinner reservation was BEFORE June 11, it is still good. If you are June 11 or after, they were moved. Anyone with an earlier reservation have it moved or have any information that the CM was not correct? If this is true, then those of us with pre-June 11 reservations ought to be okay.

I'm sure your CM was accurate for what he or she was told recently. That said, anything is subject to change, unfortunately. The latest rumors are that there will be soft openings for the show as early as mid-May, so I would not be surprised if that would affect dinners at Ariel's.
