Has anyone who has an Ariel's dinner reservation BEFORE June 11 (The official WOC opening) had theirs cancelled or moved by Disney? There have been posts from people who had their Ariel's Grotto dinner reservations for dates June 11 and later cancelled or moved to late lunch for the reason that Ariel's will no longer be serving dinner with the Princesses. I also saw a rumor that Ariel's Grotto will quit serving dinner on May 1, but I have also seen on another board that some people with reservations after that time have called and been told their reservations are still good. Our early June reservation is supposedly still good too. I'm nervous I'm going to get cancelled at the last minute and have to explain it to DD. Anyone know anything?

Best thing for you to do would be to call and confirm it. Also if they didn't take your phone number down when you made the reservation you might want to add that to their entry.

Worst case scenario is they will MOVE your reservation not cancel it entirely.

Personal experience: We had GK brunch ressies for Dec 18 at 1 pm (told they would be open until 2) for DS's 1st bday. At 9:30 am THAT MORNING we were called because they WEREN'T open until 2 only 12!!! They bent over backwards to get us a new reservation. We ended up switching to dinner because we were still driving down to DL when they called and I didn't want to change to a different morning. They even gave us 20% off our dinner for the inconvenience.

Already posted this on the Ariel's Grotto in May thread, but then found my old thread and since I'm interested in the 1st part of June, I thought I would post it on this thread too:

According to a CM at Disney Dining, if your dinner reservation is BEFORE June 11, it is still good. If you are June 11 or after, they were moved. Anyone with a pre- June 11 reservation have it moved or have any information that the CM was not correct? If this is true, then those of us with pre-June 11 reservations ought to be okay.

I'm still a little nervous that we will get cancelled/moved at the last minute. I can't move Ariel's to lunch or breakfast another day because we already have all our table service meals planned for our trip (YES I know- humor me it is a WDW vet thing - Plus, DD would be as upset about missing Minnie's Breakfast or Goofy's kitchen dinner as missing a Princesses meal and Blue Bayou is so DH can have one table service meal that doesn't involve characters (Ok- I'll admit it- I'm really looking forward to that Monte Cristo at Blue Bayou lunch for myself too!)
