Ariel's Grotto closure question!

Ariel's Grotto will be closed when we go to DL in 3 weeks. My question is, does that mean Cove Bar will be closed also? I was so looking forward to Lobster Nachos and the World of Color adult beverage!

According to Disneyland's refurbishment schedule during that time frame, Cove Bar will be open.

I had the same question and emailed Disneyland. Here is the response I received today:

Yes, the Cove Bar will be included with the refurbishment.

Thanks for that information. I don't know why it wasn't specifically included with their refurbishment listings. Oh well. Sorry about that. Perhaps as a nice substitute before your trip, the recipe for that appetizer may be made. If I happen to find it, I'll post it.
If you haven't visited Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar yet, I highly suggest doing so either way. It is a really fun place, and has not only high spirits there, but the kind that may be ordered at his bar too. Just watch out though, never know what island excitement may be just around the corner........

Oh my goodness! Does anyone know what is going on there? So many different stories on so many things. What a mess!

Happy it's going to be open though (hopefully.......maybe........depends on the day and the way the wind is blowing...... ). We were looking forward to trying the lobster nachos this trip!
