Ariel's grotto closed Jan 3 - Jan 11!

Why does Disney torment me with these late closure announcements. My family is overflowing with little girls, and we need to see Ariel... WITH THE TAIL!

Where did you see this? I looked at the official Disney site and didn't see mention of this on the calendar or in the rehab section.

Wow, I thought they took it out when they built the new Pooh playground! Glad it's still there!

I hope I didn't post this too quickly. I saw it on Tour Guide Mike's site, but like you, I haven't been able to confirm it on Disney's site, or anywhere else.

I just wanted to vent because Disney always seems to find a way to mess with my plans at the last minute. My girls are REALLY into Ariel this year.

Our little Ariel fan is also going to be very disappointed if this is true.

If Ariel's Grotto is closed, Ariel will appear at Toontown Hall of Fame instead. In past rehabs she has always appeared in mermaid form, so I'm guessing she'll be in mermaid form this time too.

That is the bummer about visiting in January - seems like something is always closed. I'm a bit bummed that Splash Mountain will be closed during our trip. Sigh. Hope your girls get to see Ariel (with the tail!!) at Toontown!
