Ariel's and photography?

hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while but I haven't posted yet so I thought I'd introduce myself and ask a question! We're "planning" a June 2011 DFTW!
Ariel's is our number one for reception venue. I remember reading somewhere that Ariel's follows the same rules as the theme parks for photography, However I have seen wedding pictures by more than one photographer, that wasn't a Disney Photog. What's the deal? I'm just not keen on the idea of being assigned a photographer and not meeting them till the day of and never seeing any of their work.

Hi, welcome! Im having my reception at Ariels this November and I was never told that I had to use Disney photography, so ive been in talks with various outside photographers.

Outside photographers are allowed at all resort locations. You might be thinking of Atlantic Dance Hall, which allows outside photographers and videographers but prohibits any other kind of outside vendor.

Thank you so much! That really put my mind at ease! I called and we are now penciled in for a lunch reception at Ariel's and a DP at UK Lochside! I'm Very excited!
