We are looking to purchase the bubble wands that we saw at DL and CA. After we got home, we thought it would be a fun thing to have for our daughter's birthday party. We bought one for my mother but she is having trouble finding refill bubbles that work with the wand. I found them on eBay for $38 but if we can't refill them then I don't think it is worth the money.
Anyone else but one at the parks and having trouble refilling bubbles?
Anyone else know where we could find them to purchase? Online? Not too many options in South Dakota.

The older bubble guns we use to just use the bubbles from the dollar store and refilled the container that attached to the bubble gun.
I found if I added a little glycerin to the Dollar store bubbles they worked better.

If you're wanting to buy the bubble wands, I think there's a phone number you can call to order things like this. I'm sure someone will know the number and post it here.

Are you asking about refilling the bubble liquid or about replacing the entire bottle that holds the bubble liquid? The Disney Parks items have usually had non-standard bubble liquid holders, so you need to keep the one that came with the wand. I don't have the new Ariel wand, but the previous bubble 'guns' just used regular bubble liquid that you can buy in most convenience stores.

Otherwise, you can try calling Disney Parks Merchandise Mail Order if you wanted to purchase the park specific wands (I think there are two styles: Ariel and a generic blue "Disney Parks" design).

Call the # Figment provided. The wand is on the Shop Parks app, but you have to purchase in store.
As a self proclaimed bubble wand/bubble gun expert, I want to let you know they do not offer replacement bubbles for this item. You have to refill the purple ball that comes with the wand. I find the light up bubble gun bubbles work the best. They sell them on the parks app or in the parks.
Good luck!

It was funny, by my family was commenting that the bubble wands seemed to put out smaller bubbles, but more of them than the original bubble guns. I don't think they're selling the bubble guns in the parks anymore; I recall reading that they were eliminated when the parks banned all toy gun and toy gun sales in the park. I know that they still haven't resumed sales of the Astro Blasters and the light-up toy carts only had the bubble wands last weekend.

They did remove all bubble guns and only have the wand available...Hopefully they will have a masculine version soon. I saw a few boys bummed out in January that they only had Ariel to choose from.
I agree that the bubbles are smaller, but more of them. When I was there in January, it was really difficult to find anything to refill them. I eventually found the Buzz Refills at the little shops at the exit. I imagine they have them more available these days.

They also had a plain blue version of the wand...same basic design/shape, but it said "Disney Parks" or something like that on it. I didn't seem that as often as the Ariel one, but they were available. I suppose that one was designed to appeal to non-Ariel fans.

I saw one on eBay just now. But I wouldn't recommend it... Ours doesn't blow bubbles anymore. Anyone know how to fix one of these things? I blew out the straws and the top vent but it doesn't blow bubbles anymore. Occasionally it spits out some anemic, half-hearted foamy mess. No more bubbles. So sad.

In case anyone is interested. Our broke after a week being home.

Price was 16.90 in Disney Springs store.

My family and I went to Disneyland at the beginning of march. my boyfriend thought this would be a great idea to purchase this exact bubble wand for our near two year old at the time (she turned 2 after we got home) and ATM I was thinking okay she likes bubbles this will be great. but once we ran out of the bubbles that come with it I too have had a hard time finding bubbles that work in this wand. It's really sad because we have had to hide her wand from her because she knows there are supposed to be bubbles coming out of it. We paid $20 for it at DL and this momma is frustrated that nothing works. I just get it leaking out of the bottom.

There are two Little Mermaid wands. One is light blue and more "girly" and one is dark blue (we have this one). There is also a unisex Mickey ears wand that is red.

We purchased ours in February and have used it quite frequently. It works great still and is a huge hit. We just use refill bubbles from Target (I think they are called Miracle bubbles or something like that). They are nothing special ($2.99 for a huge jug) but they work just fine. I filled a small water bottle with refill bubbles and took it to the park with us last week and it was more than enough bubbles to last all day.

I think the care of the wand is what is important. You have to remove the bubble container at the bottom after each use and rinse the little tubes. You might also have to wipe the top of the wand with a damp cloth to remove bubble residue. If you do this after each use it should continue working fine. We really love ours.

Refilling? The wands my granddaughters got last month, the little ball on the bottom screws off and just pour in more bubble liquid.

I bought a super cheap bubble solution from 99 cent store, and it worked just as well as the original fluid.

We bought one of these this past November. Its still working so far. I clean it out periodically since the leftover bubbles can kinda get goopy and clog it up. To refill it, we use Gazillion bubbles or Super Miracle bubbles that you can pick up at Target or Walmart. When we have tried other brands, it doesn't seem to work as well.

When this thread was started over a year ago, the Flounder and light-up Mickey bubble wands that they sell now didn't exist yet.

On our way out of the parks on our last day two years ago I bought each kid a bubble gun. They shot bubbles the entire way back to the car, so much fun. We still have them. I use regular bubble solution to refill them and just keep the same containers because they are smaller than a typical bubble bottle. Both guns still work amazingly, and one even has the original batteries in it. I'm glad they've since added a more boy friendly bubble wand. I could see some sad little boys wanting a bubble wand but not wanting anything princessy. It seems like they could make Spiderman themed ones or something. Glad they added Mickey though.
