Well last week I posted that we were waitlisted at BWV for a standard 2 bedroom in Sept.
Well my waitlist came through and they put us in a STUDIO!!!!!!!!! 3 adults, 1 child and an infant!
GRRRRRRR!
Does that mean when I call back on Monday, that I will be placed at the end of the list for BWV standard view now??? The MS rep even went over what I was looking for and confirmed they were a 2 bedroom!
I am soooo frustrated!
 
I would call them immediately. The wait list is one of the great mystery's of DVC reservations. :confused3

My guess is they'll toss you on the bottom of the list.

Instead of trying to book a full week at a time. Ask them to book you day by day. This will give you a better chance as individual days open up. Also ask for automatic confirmation, that way they don't waste time trying to contact you. You can track your reservations on the Disney Vacation Club member website.

Remember, if your reservation is not filled 31-days out they will drop you from the wait list. Tell them to keep your name on the wait list until 7 days out. They will do this for you if you ask. pirate:
 
I did get them to do automatic confirmation!
And they put us in a STUDIO not a 2 bed like our request stated!
 
I'd definitely call them back Monday morning. You shouldn't lose your place on the list because of their mistake, and if they tell you that's going to happen, I'd speak to a supervisor. As a matter of fact, I think I'd start with a supervisor.

I guess that's the downside of the automatic confirmation -- they don't waste any time telling you they've messed up!
 

I agree with JimMia. It was THERE mistake, not yours. I would get a supervisor on the phone ASAP. You should NOT be put to the bottome of the list. Not your fault.
 
I can't imagine you would go to the bottom of the list when it was their mistake, but I hope you called this morning and got it taken care of.

I'd agree in principle but it depends on how they do the list. They may NOT have the option of adjusting the date that counts for your place in line if it's run by computer.

Hi all
Thanks for all your imput....
I did call yesterday and explained the situation. Seems my other waitlist was also for a studio - changed that first.
I was put back onto the waitlist but have spoken to 2 different people... and neither will tell me if I was placed on the bottom or not! No supervisor was available today due to "meeting".... but MS told me when you are put on list you can't be bummed as the system is designed that way.
So I am guessing I am at the bootom :confused3
Oh well..... let's hope that tinkerbell has sprinkled some good dust on the waitlist for BWV for SEpt.
