Well some of you may remember here my fatal holiday last year to Orlando where I got an abscess on the plane on the way over and was in pain when I got there eventually had to go to ER (which wasn't as exciting as on TV :().

Well I went to the dentist before we went to WDW this year and got all my teeth sorted

:( Now 2 days before I go to Cyprus (yes I know another holiday, don't say it) my problem tooth has flared up again - so it's off to the dentist today - luckily I'm a good customer so they were able to fit me in.

I'm in pain pass me the Ibuprofen and lots of it :)

Uh oh! Sorry to hear that....hope it can be sorted before your trip :(

Oh Sam!

Not again - I hope that you things sorted out once again.

Skip the Motrin, you need Tylenol with codine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and your trip.

Poor Sam. :( I hope it gets sorted , and quick.

Unable to comment on the holiday situation due to yer gaggin order in yer thread - I'll just sit here quiet but sarcastically jealous.

You see Sam, this is how it goes, all of us here are just so jealous about all your lovely trips away that you have to pay someway! :)

Seriously, hope you get it all sorted out in double quick time so you can wizz off to sunnier climes painfree!

Astrid xx

Teeth just seem to have a knack of annoying us at the least convenient time don't they?

I really hope you manage to get things sorted out so you can enjoy your holiday without pain. :D

P.S Another holiday!!!;)

Hope you're all sorted for your trip now, Sam.

Let's hope the Ibuprofen work.

Have a good trip:crazy:

OH GOOD GRIEF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to have bloomin' root canal work there and then - I was very nervous and had a few tears, you see I used to have to have sedation and it's onthis dentis that talked me into being brave back in April so I trust him very much.

Well he was very quick and he numbed me up well and truly and I felt no pain, infact I'm still a little numb. He gave me some antibiotics just incase I need them but he doesn't think I will. I have to say I'm not in any pain at the moment.

Also means I get a scrummy tea of shepherds pie followed by clotted cream rice pudding - yeahhhhh

Always got to look at the bright side and if there is a meal at the end of the tunnel then all the better :)

LOL! Glad you're feeling better :teeth:

So glad you're feeling better. Now the teeth business is out of the way you can really look forward to your holiday. ;)

I feel your pain. I'm going to the dentist on Wednesday and its looking like I'll be having root treatment too.

{{{HUGS}}} Sam - I do hope the treatment sorts out your problem.

The morning after.............

Well the only pain I'm in is where he put the injections in otherwise I feel just fine and dandy ;)

Let's hope this flippin' tooth has learned its lesson this time m8. I've been on a course for two days, so I missed the pain part! Glad it's all over - I'm a bit squeamish about the dentist myself, but luckily I've found one who I trust too.

Glad to hear it's all over and done with! :D

I have had root canal treatment twice, a few years ago now, and neither dentist gave me any anaesetic!!!! It was agony I can tell you! Did he push those tiny white needle looking things up the hole????? I can still feel the pain now when I think about it!

Glad to know you have a sympathetic dentist and it was virtually pain free for you. :D

Hope you are feeling fine and dandy soon. Stick to lovely sloppy food for a few days....mmmmmm chilli, curry, jelly, tapioca - but not all at the same time though ;)

I have a lovely dentist who numbed me up so much that even my eye and nose was numb for a few hours!

One bonus with root canal (if that is possible!) is if you need the tooth crowning, you don't need anaesthetic for it!

Mazzy - no anaesthetic for root canal???? Wow, that must have hurt
