Arghhh someone hold me hand please!!!

Happy planning!

Have you got a hotel in mind?

:goodvibes

Yes Luke, we've decided on the ASMo...mainly for the kids :wizard: It seems to be the only hotel that's really themed for children :confused3 As it's their first time at WDW I want to do the whole Disney thing for them. Although we don't intend to stay the whole time within the Disney walls.

Planning to swim with the dolphins at Discovery Cove, do the two Universal parks and go to the Space Centre, along with a trip to a beach and maybe either Seaworld or Busch Gardens seeing as we will have a ticket for one for them with our DC tickets

Lots planning to do :surfweb: which will keep me happy over the many months until we get to actually go on our holiday :rotfl2:

It was DD(7) who suggested the dolphin swim as it's something she really wants to do and funny enough it's been on my "to do list" for many years, so we are going to go for it even if we have to take out a mortgage to do it :rotfl:

Yes Luke, we will be hiring a car for the whole holiday...we like the independance of having a car and not having to always rely on other forms of transport.

Excellent news on the car, we couldn't do without it, even tho we're on Disney property for the first time this year and COULD make use of their transport, its the independance like you say!

Love the quick introduction of a ticker BTW :thumbsup2

Great news!

If you don't find a suitable offer with Disney US for a value + free DDP, you could book a moderate with Disney UK instead and get the (free) Quick Service Dining Plan.

LOL Had to be done! :lmao: It's not as disneyfied as I would have liked but atm the children are really into Spongebob and they reckoned the island on the ticker looked like Spongebob's island :confused3

Yeah, I've thought about going to a moderate and I probably would if it was just me and Dp going, but I want a more child orientated hotel for the kids.

Also we don't actually want to eat all our meals at Disney as we will be out and about doing other things for a lot of the time, so I'm sticking to our plan to stay at the ASMo and if I can get free DDP with the US site for the same or similar price as without DDP on the UK site then I may go with that so that at least some of our meals are free when we are actually in the Disney parks iyswim?

Has anyone actually booked a value resort with free DDP throught the US site?
