ARGH! (Rant From A Neat Freak)

I just had 2 men show up at my door saying they had to come in to check out our pipes because of some leak on our street. Well, after I called DH at work and got him on the phone(in case these guys really wanted to kill me), I let them in. They tracked mud, dirt & water in all over my harwood floors & tile.
This is the reason we use the garage to come in the house, and then leave our shoes in the laundry/mud room.
What a mess!

That's why we use the garage to come in also. I hate when people see my house is so clean then track grime and muck all over the floors.

That's really rude. Most of the service people around here take their shoes off at the door. It avoids complaints like yours.

very rude -- we use both doors -- but have a long runner at the entryway for people to take shoes and boots off -- send the company the cleaning bill !!!
