ARGH! I just wanted my NPC credits!

Lately it is taking me about 30-40 minutes to log a person into VMK. Once there it is a little slow but I can function ( no games and sometimes a 5 minute delay in talking ). At 12:05 I tried to log in just to get my NPC credits and to sell a useless teleporter.......I was "at the bar" until 12:45, then the dictionary did it's usual stop at 37% and then..........THEN..........at 12:50 I was told VMK was closed!!!! I only needed five more minutes and I would have been out!

I am just soooo frustrated with the whole thing this week.

Looking forward to Monday when Piratesmate and I will have a game for you all. Of course she will have to do all the talking, I will just give out prizes.
What kind of prizes you ask? Why the coveted NPC pins and other equally valuable items! After all, I can't stay logged in long enough to buy you guys the prizes you deserve. Hope we see you there - we will post about it on Sunday!

After 12:50 your kind of screwed, but sometimes if it is hanging on the bar I hit refresh and this will work. If it persists I reboot run nortors and ad-aware and it will usually clear the problem... but then there's that 12:50 thing again. Sorry I know it can be frustrating.

Thanks - I was just whining and behaving badly. I will try the refresh thing. I made the mistake of hitting refresh while in the game once.........took me back to the blank login screen.

I hate when that happens really bumms you out...or when Nortons does a one button check up when you are in the middle of playing and erases all your cookies

I can't imagine how you've been able to even get the NPC credits this week. VMK has been really slow with multiple disconnects for me all week and I have a fast computer & DSL!
