Argh! and New Pin?

Hi all - I just got off the phone with Disney and was told that there is no availability for the following using the 40% PIN:

Poly - Garden View
Contemporary - Garden Wing
Contemporary - Tower Lake View

So to use the PIN at a deluxe for our travel dates of 9/25 - 10/2 we would have to do:

Poly - Lagoon View
Contemporary - Tower MK View
Bay Lake Towers - Studio Standard

Yikes!

And then he said I had two PINs attached to my account but "they hadn't sent the second one out yet so he couldn't even view it"...

Does anyone have any thoughts on what that PIN could be? Also, what in the world do we choose now for a room? My DH is paralyzed so we have to have a monorail resort.

I did forget the Grand Flordian - which right now is the CHEAPEST option as a standard room is available with the PIN.

I would go with the GF is that is the cheapest offered (and cause I love GF!!!) So he didnt tell you when the new pin attached to your name would be released? Atleast I still have hope lol! I had the FD QS pin attached to my name but we are going in dec so no use to me!!

I just called for the same dates and got the same information. Ugh! It drives me crazy b/c I was totally happy with POR until I got this stupid pin and now all I want is to stay at a Deluxe!! For those of you that go often, does it ever happen that people cancel or you can change it as it gets closer? Or if free dining comes out will another set of rooms open for the cheaper rooms at those resorts?

I'm beginning to think that I will be staying at a "deluxe" resort with nice padded walls if we don't decide soon....Last year was so easy! Then we had a horrible experience at the Poly and now this year is a nightmare.

I was also told that there is a pin attached to my name & to call back later this week She said that she's been seeing that with several others too. And you are not the only one today that said this as well on here so I'm thinking perhaps FD is going to be a big mass of pins this year. At least at first maybe?

A new CM told me that the "new pin" is a room only PIN that will come later this week....who knows...

We have the pin too and a CM told me there was absolutely no availability at GF. Right now were booked at Poly Garden view but wanted to change to GF garden view.

That is crazy b/c I just got quoted for a GF Garden view but there was no availibility for Poly Garden View rooms. It must be a different pin -- do you have the white rabbit one?

No it was a pin I got back in December. Thats a bummer.

Same info for traveling 9/23-28. Only Poly LV or GF Garden View (we don't want CR). We could get Savanna view at AKL but dh wants the monorail. Last Sept. we stayed at the GF and hated it, so I am booked at the Poly LV, but wish we could have saved more $$. If free dining comes out and I can get it with a Garden View room it will actually be cheaper for us by a few $$. We will have to wait and see. I am also holding out hope that at the 45 day mark people may cancel and a GV might open up.

I hope that this is right!! The last CM that I spoke to hinted that fall discounts were coming, and she discouraged me from changing my existing plans (Oct. 9-14th).

Woodkins we were considering the GF. Can I ask why you didn't like it? We have to have a monorail and hate to pay for Lagoon View but will if necessary.

So I have two different PINS. Right now I am booked at Poly with the 1st one I recieved but I booked for the MNSSHP and now it looks like the weekend we want to go there will be no party. So we need to change because my daughter will turn 3 and we no longer fit in one room at Poly, also MIL now wants to go. So I want to book 2 rooms at the Contemporary. My question is if they are booked with one PIN can I try the other or are they just booked comlpetly for PIN offers? Does it make a difference? I obviously am not going to even bother with figuring out when we go until the MNSSHP dates are officially released but I am getting worried there will be no rooms for us.
