Don't bags that carry all that food, water, cameras...etc....awkward to carry?
Don't they get heavy on your back? I would prefer to wear like a fanny pack or something - but I am not sure if any are made large enough to carry what we need. We will probably all carry a bag type thing...

sunscreen - small bottle
water bottles (maybe)
cameras
autograph book/pens
snacks (maybe)
tylenol - small bottle

Are the lockers convenient at all?
I have seen some other threads on bags to carry - but they all looks so awkward and heavy....

Any ideas? princess:

That's why I love the fact that my dd still wants to ride in a stroller...lots of easy storage area....DISCLAIMER: She doesn't use a stroller any other time...but she is 7 and quite petite...and this helps her keep up with the older kids....and I love the storage...soon this too will end...then we will have to figure out what to do...maybe just take the stroller along to carry the snacks..:teeth: :teeth:

I can not quite use a stroller any more :( My DD is 10 and I think she would "die" before we did that! haha :charac2: she is a drama queen!

I have seen some pretty big fannypacks, and if you all carry one and spread the load then you shouldn't find them too ackward.
Many of them have a holder for a water bottle in the waist strap, and you could definitely get a camera in one, and then each person could carry their own autograph book and snacks, and one other person can carry the suncream and tylenol

also there is a suncream called p20 which you apply once first thing in the morning..saves you carrying round suncream

We have a DD that's still stroller age. However I do have a few suggestions of way to minimize what you need to carry. You can get sunscreen in small foil packets. I think it's the Waterbabies brand that has these. They come in a box of 8-10 packets. I've gotten them at Target and WalMart. There's enough in each for 2-3 people but it takes up very little space. It might be worth considering. You could also put some tylenol in a small ziploc bag and that would save space as well.

I have a good sized fanny pack that holds lots of stuff, but not the water bottles. I got it at a travel store at the local mall. It has three pockets and comes with a strap to make it handbag like if you want. I stored my camera, sunscreen, two diapers, a wipes container, a small bottle of anticeptic hand lotion, and snacks like raisins and peanutbutter crackers for my 2DD. It was great. It really didn't seem that big to me.
I'd suggest browsing around on ebags.com.

I always carry a fanny pack at disney. No matter what you carry, after an hour or 2 at the park everything seems heavy to me. My camera is small enough to fit in my fanny pack. They now sell disposable sunscreen packets and they take up hardly any space and are way lighter then bringing the bottle. Put a few tylenols in a small plastic snack bag, buy snacks at the parks and the only thing you may have to carry is the water bottle. The autograph book fits in most fanny packs anyway. The less you carry, the more comfortable you'll be no matter how big/small your bag is.

We each carry a small fanny pack or small "over the shoulder" type purse & water bottle holder.

3 DD's carry their own snacks, sunglasses, drink & disposable camera if they bring one. They have been doing this since they've been about 5 because we couldn't get rid of the stoller soon enough!!!

I carry the tickets, camera, money, room keys & a sunscreen stick for faces & shoulders. DH carries his wallet!

If someone thinks they will be cold they bring a sweatshirt or jacket & put it around their waist when not using it.

Honestly, this is JMO, but I don't know why people bring so many things into the park. It's seems so cumbersome to be carrying so much around all day long.

Our DD's know - if you bring it, you carry it!!!

Last holiday, we asked for durable fanny packs that hold H20 bottles for our upcoming WDW excursion. We recieved great fanny packs for each member of our family from a company called Vermont Vagabond.

I see now, on website, that they weren't cheap. I probably wouldn't of bought them on my own, but real glad we got them as gifts!
They hold absolutely everything we each needed. Myself and kids carried the H20pack that holds the one water bottle. My DH got the hump pack which holds two water bottles and that pouch is HUGE. He carried our camera (not a little digital one), autograph books, some sharpie markers, rain ponchos, sunscreen and tylenol, etc. We just kept them on while touring, on rides with bars, you can just turn them so they are out of the way...not as clumsy as a backpack. These packs are very rugged and durable and I highly recommend this company.

Depending on how many are in your party, you can ease the load by dividing it between people. Also, keep in mind that the bag generally gets lighter as the day goes on and you consume the snacks and drink the water.

We carry one backpack and DW and I each wear a fanny pack. I keep my sunglasses and camera in the fanny pack. The backpack is for snacks, rain ponchos, sunscreen and whatever else we need. We take turns carrying the backpack. It has never been a problem for us. We used to do a bag with a shoulder strap but that does get uncomfortable after a while. A backpack doesn't.
