Guys hate to be the person with the bad news..But they arnt recruiting for the Fall 09 CS. I called and talked to the person in charge of the CS program and they said that they've already given people interviews and accepted everyone they were planning on accepting.

I was at the actual office and talk to sevral people and they said they will be recruiting very soon but a very limited amount, if you call you will get a diffrent story

you don't understand I had a long conversation with some peoplein the career start office they said they have some left over spots and will be recruiting soon to fill them but they are LIMITED!!!

When did you go, because my friend who was trying to apply for the Career Start Program for the fall was told they are not recruiting, from the College and Career Start Office at disney. They told her they were already full and that is why they have not opened applications for the fall career start. The overbooking is the main reason they havent started accepting application and why they told her they will not be accepting new people. She got a little angry with the people because she wished they would have put that on their site.

I feel so bad for everyone that wanted to apply for the Fall though, just keep your heads up and hope for the best.

Honey I was interview this Monday, they decided to interview me because I had applied too late for the Spring 09 program. The lady that called to offer me the interview was one of the head managers for the CS program and said that I was one of the few lucky one's they decided to interview because I had a great interview last time and a good standing with the job I am at right now. Im not saying that they wont open up the program to other's but my interviewer told me again that I was one of the chosen few that would get a interview. :S

Well my friend Amanda also went on Wed. and that is what they told her. So either she is being lied to, or the opposite. The way they put it to her is that they are only interviewing a few people and have already made their selections or are in the process of doing so. But you never know.

There is a difference between "recruiting" and "hiring" which I think is confusing. They are not going to be actively recruiting, meaning putting the resources into posting the application and interviewing the masses of students who would certainly apply. What they are doing, most likely, is selectively interviewing those who already somehow have a foot in the door from a previous application or experience.
