Are you waiting to book AP rates?? October and beyond

Just thought I would toss a poll out to kill time... LOL

You can vote for more than one option.... like I have booked a room, but will cancel our trip if AP rates dont come out...

I didn't vote because I'm weird and no situation really fit. I am doing a split stay and have booked 2 nights at Pop. Hoping for AP rates to change that to 2 nights at CSR and book 5 nights at either AKL or WL. If they don't come out, I don't know what I'll book for the last 5 days. Getting tired of waiting and scared to death everything will be booked up since my trip coincides with Jersey week.

DH has already booked our December trip at AKL...concierge, 2 rooms, 5 adults 1 child. Yes, rack rate is VERY scary.

We can't "fly by the seat of our pants" with dates....we have to put in for vacation time at work early (as does his family who is traveling with us)...airfare has been booked since May/June as has our room.

We're hoping a code comes out...but if one doesn't, it won't cancel our trip.

I voted havent booked yet. If I can get an AP rate for CBR for our dates, then I will book there. If not Pop Century!

Currently there is a 5oo buck difference between the rooms... (around 600 for Pop and 1100 for CBR.) If I can narrow down that gap... I will.

Now dont ask me what I will do if some great rates for POP come out... LOL

Our dates for October are locked in because of attending a conference.........been watching for AP codes like everyone else. We're hoping to upgrade if we get a better rate because of reimbursement

I put that I've not booked a room as in I haven't booked a Disney room. I have booked Swan on points in case but if Disney will release GOOD AP rates on all levels of rooms, then will book a Disney Concierge room either at AKL or Poly.

If no good AP rates (by good I mean not the flat 90 off deluxes but a real 40-45% discount) then I'll keep my Swan on points or if they release good discounts bank my points and pay cash.

I'll be happy at Swan or Dolphin but would really like to go back to concierge at a Disney resort.

Disney, it's up to you whether you get my money or not! Last year you got about $4200 from me for 12 nights (7 for 4 and 5 night stay) This year you've gotten about $400. Dolphin got a good chunk instead. Let's see some good rates!

I'm thinking of a long weekend in mid October but only if I can get a good room rate & airfare.

In December we will be staying at SOG, but we booked 3 nights at YC (AAA rate) b/c we wanted to try the resort out. We are fine with paying AAA rate, but if the AP rate comes out then that is just gravy for us. I'm not counting on it, but I'm hoping!

I booked one night at Pop on Oct 24 to go to MNSSHP. I have to pay my deposit by Sunday, Jul 31. I will probably cancel the ressie if no AP rates come out since I can stay at my parents who live in Orlando, near Sea World.

I've decided (thank you to DH!) to take my DS on a birthday surprise quick (4 night, 3 day) trip during Veteran's Day in November. I had to book a room since we're not really flexible with dates what with his being in school. I'm keeping fingers crossed, though!
