We stayed in the 70s building back in May and although parking was crowded, I've always been able to find a spot. It may not be the closest to the building, but it was always in the lot.

I wouldn't worry too much.

I am sure alot depends on when you go. We went last January which is a slower time, but even then once we had to park in the "other" lot (we stayed in 70's). Even with that, though, it wasn't that far. We would just drop Dad and little ones off and then park, the walk was really not ever THAT far. Also, I think last January was more crowded because it was new (just a theory). The parking wasn't bad enough to keep us from going back to POP this coming January!
