We never do this... reading all this posts from MK warriors I want to do it!
I would definitely need a serious nap and some strong coffee. Not Disney java, some Starbucks double shot...
It sounds like a lot of fun.

We did one on May 28th, and the crowds didn't thin down to what I consider manageable until 2:30 am. We rode Splash at 1:15 and the wait was still 30 minutes, but after 2:30 everything was FINALLY a walk-on. DS waited on SpaceMtn. for 70 minutes after midnight.

OTOH, the regular midnight close on May 31st was quite nice after about 10:30.

Moral of the story? On holidays even 3 am doesn't really help much.

We LOVE the super late EMH's at MK!!!!

Last July, we did both a 3am EMH and a 2am EMH. Near the end is when we can walk right on Splash Mountain and keep riding without getting off if we want to.

Actually, on our trip last July, the 3am EMH was on our first day - and we had been up since 3am to get to the airport for our 6am flight. (We really slept in the next day!)

Yes and it's a really neat experience to be at MK that late at night....I've not been there until 3 a.m. but have been until 2 a.m. several times........New Years night 2010 (actually it was about 1:00 a.m. on 1/2/10) we rode Splash and Thunder Mountain several times in a row........my then 8 year old grandson thought it was absolutely awesome......still talks about "how we rode Splash and Thunder Mountain in the middle of the night!!"

If you leave the park before midnight, and come back after midnight, is that another 'day'/entry on your parkhopper?
(since technically it's a different date?)

Yes...I've done it, but not everything is open! BE SURE TO EAT BEFORE EMH as things start to close up and I remember my DD starving and everytime we tried to get food (asking cms what was open,) by the time we trekked over it was closed.

Main st stays open, but they do run out of things, so choices become very limited!
