I was just looking at our weekly Giant circular and I noticed that if you buy your tickets there (at least at our store, I can't verify it's all Giant stores - maybe others can check their circulars?) they're giving you a free voucher for every ticket purchased to pick up a souvenir cup (32 oz.) once at the park. The park will then fill the cup with the beverage of your choice (Pepsi products only), then refills are $0.99 the rest of the day.

The price is $32.95 for an adult ticket (same as AAA) and is a $9.00 savings from the park. Children save a $1.00; this is the standard for children's discounts to the park - though not a great deal, for $23.95.

We usually buy our Hershey tix from our local rec commision--this year they are $32.75 for adult but the deal you have seems better with the cup and .99 refills-----what city are you from? We have no Giant store around here, but we do have Martin's food mart---I heard they where owned by Giant---have to make a call and check it out ------thanks---sp :thumbsup2

Just talked to Martins foods and they have the same deal and same price with tickets in stock----thanks again----sp :wave2:

Can you tell if this deal expires? My Girl Scout Troop wants to go to Hershey this summer. Does Giant usually have discount tickets all summer? If the cup deal doesn't expire, we may wait and get our tickets at Giant when we get there.

edited - I looked on Giant's website, and the cup deal is listed there, and does not have an expiration date. Thanks for posting this, since we don't have Giant's around here!

I see you both answered your own questions. I'm glad because I couldn't have answered either one. LOL

I did know that Martin's is owned by the same company that owns Giant. For the most part, their sales are the same, but normally if say Giant has Pepsi on sale, Martin's has Coke on sale that week. I can't figure that one out, but it seems like the rest of the items are usually for sale in both places. Maybe there is a more of a difference, but soda is the only thing I've noticed. For some reason, we get more weekly ads for Martin's than we do for Giant and we have no Martin's in the area. :confused3

As to when these expire, I really don't know, but if you don't plan on going right away I'd make the call to find out as it looks like you'll be needing quite a few tickets. It might be something they'll run for a limited time till all the vouchers are gone. Then again, they are a sponsor of Hershey Park, so it may be a perk that they'll be able to offer for the entire season.
