I haven't been hot in 20 years...I vaguely remember having a bikini body in college and getting 'looks' from men.

Now if I get looks from anyone, it is because my children are misbehaving

I am sorry but that was funny!! I would be too...but my dh holds up the ring finger and says "sorry I am married" and when they try that line"I dont mind" he says "I do!" haha the older women he works with tell me the stories all the time, they fuss over him like mother hens.

Its great to have your spouse be good looking but the things you really want is someone who will be faithfull and honest.

I'm with you. My DH is the stereotypical "tall, dark, and handsome." He gets second looks all the time, and there was a co-worker of his who was a little too friendly for my liking (on her part, not his) and would call his cell phone for stupid stuff after hours. I started answering his cell phone and she got the hint. Luckily she doesn't work there anymore.

I am your stereotypical "cute".... while I think I am attractive most of the time, I've never been what you would call "hot".

I think my DBF is the hottest man on the planet...so hot, in fact, that if Simon LeBon, my crush of the past 30 years, were to knock on my front door, I'd ask him for his autograph and send him on his way. Yep, I'd turn him down for DBF instead...

Now, my ex-husband...he actually was stopped several times and asked if he'd ever considered modeling. Too bad he didn't have the personality to go along with those looks...

I would definitely not consider myself "HOT" based on the current "popular" perception of the term. Heck I wouldn't consider myself hot anyway, lol! But as so many have already said, DH does, and that's all I care about!

My DD on the other hand... I have to be careful with that girl, she's so gorgeous it's scary!

DH just tells me about it and laughs, he doesn't see his hotness. He also has the personality that attracts women, he's a listener and always finds a reason to pay a complement to people. He does it because that's just the way he is; not to flirt or anything.

DH was a cop for 20 years, now retired, no he's not old just injured line of duty, so I know what you mean about women and the cop infatuation. DH has been retired for 6 years now and I think women can still sense it.

I am er was! I let myself go in the last 5 years.

However I still get the stares and whistles and the pick lines all the time. I just say I'm married and walk off.

My dh is hot at least I think he is but he disagrees. I do wish he could see what I see.

I would think to outsiders we look like a typical late 30s couple--but to each other we are very attractive--love is wonderful like that.

I think DH is absolutely hot and I used to get comments from other girls a lot. Recently a woman at a plant he visited in Indonesia took photos with him and texted them to several friends (some also in the company which is how it eventually got back to us) saying he was her boyfriend (among other things he was in the country for all of 22 hours)--so I guess she thinks he is hot too

He says I am hot (he says it a lot--good guy) and takes waaaay to many photos of me in swimsuits on vacation (which just prove to me I am not hot--the last year I have gained wirght sitting in classes all day ). A few years ago though her had such a photo as a screensaver at a new plant. I went one day to pick him up from work and the first thing anyone said to me was "You really are his wife!" At which point it was explained to me that the guys had all decided that the photo was either not his wife at all, or at least his wife when she was a teen. I took that as a great compliment and also possibly an indicator that the women in the small town they lived in were not all that much--or they just couldn't believe someone's actual wife would let him put a photo of her in a bathing suit on his computer (because really I fail to see anything all that great in that photo to this day).

I think I'm okay! I'm happy with my appearance, at least. Right now as a combination of my 20 year old metabolism and years of ballet I have a pretty good body. But I tell my BF... don't get too used to this... it's all downhill from here. I can't keep this up for much longer!
